Ernie Garland
My first memory of music was hearing an old radio my father was working on when I was about 5 years old. I was transfixed by the sound. From then on all I wanted to do was hear music.
When I was 13 I got my first guitar. Making my own music was so cool. When I was in my early twenty's I started playing in church. For the next 30 years I was a worship leader for several different churches. Along the way I played for many weddings and parties along with leading worship. In my 30s I learned piano, keyboards and mandolin.
Over the past few years I have been playing coffee shops and resturants, along with the weddings and private parties, in addition to my worship leading. People kept asking me if I had a CD. So I decided to record one. My CD, Edge of the World is available on CD Baby (just click on the link at the left of each page) and at my gigs.
