The party was held at Coffee Bistro 101 in downtown DeLand on Friday, November 14th. We had door prizez for the first 25 people attending and a drawing for a free t-shirt and a free CD. Barbara Rutheford won the T-shirt and Dartl Crites won the CD. Since Daryl had already purchased a CD he accepted a T-shirt instead. The support of old friends and new was greatly appreciated. My new CD was recorded at my long-time friend, Bob Costa's studio in DeLeon Springs, Florida. We started working on it in Feburary, 2008 with Bob as co-producer. After laying down the basic tracks we added Joey Costa on bass, Jim Driver on electric guitar and Bob's wife Gloria doing background vocals.
The release party will be at Coffee Bistro 101 on Friday, November 14th at 7:00pm. Door prizes, drawings for T-shirts and CDs...it'll be a blast!
